A Fast and Easy DIY Solution to Organize and Display Lego Minifigures
How do you organize Lego Minifigures?
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say we have Lego Minifigures scattered everywhere and they are often really hard to put back together due to missing parts and pieces.
When the kids decided they wanted to display some of their Lego Minifigures, I jumped at the opportunity to find a cute (and functional) way to organize them.
I searched high and low for a storage idea that met the following criteria:
- A DIY project that is easy to put together
- An attractive display so it looks good in any room
- Simple enough for kids to add to the display and/or move around their collection anytime the mood strikes 🙂
Below are the Lego Minifigure Shadowboxes we created:
I stumbled upon a case at Michaels that was the perfect size to accommodate Lego Minifigures (with extra room for accessories ). I cut the brick tape to size and stuck it inside each shelf to hold the Lego Minifigures in place. (You could simply sit the minifigures inside the case, but I found they move easily (especially if the frame is bumped). By adding brick tape, the figures stay in place and the kids can move them around anytime they want.
Materials Used:
We placed 2 display cases on a picture ledge in Maxwell’s bedroom and so far they’ve held up really well.
