Start your Morning on Autopilot with a Quick and Easy Coffee Station

I find that starting my day with a steaming cup of coffee is both relaxing and therapeutic.  During Covid, I found myself pulling out our coffee machine so often, that I decided it was time to create a dedicated coffee station.

Added tips to make your own LOW-COST caffeine station

  • Use items you already own. The tray under our coffee machine is actually a marble cake pedestal. Don’t let serving pieces collect dust when they can be used somewhere else in the house.
  • The marble cheese board helps to corral items that would otherwise be scattered about.
  • Just because the Rubberwood pizza board is too large to store with my cutting boards, doesn’t mean it needs to be banished from the kitchen. It looks cute on the counter and more importantly, hides all of the plugs!  Plus, it gets pulled out often to make charcuterie boards and cheese trays.
  • The coffee canister holds single serve espresso pods so i can have a quick cup anytime
  • Finally, we LOVE having an Amazon Echo Show in the kitchen. Not only do we listen to music all the time, but Alexa also keeps us up to date on the latest news and weather. Did you know Alexa can be used as an intercom as well?? SO handy!!

I love having everything at my fingertips (especially when I’m over-tired and running on autopilot).

Keeping small spaces in mind, I’ve rounded up coffee items to help you recreate a caffeine station similar to ours (and I couldn’t help but include a little extra inspiration) 🙂

I have one rule that works in any area of our home.  In order for an item to be displayed front and centre, it must get used daily.

Despite living in a small space, I firmly believe you can have items on display that are both cute and functional!!
